Dr. Maybel del Rosario is a compassionate and experienced nephrologist dedicated to the comprehensive care of patients with kidney-related conditions. With board certification in both Family Medicine and Nephrology, she brings a unique blend of expertise to both chronic disease management and preventative care.
She currently practices at Hermanos Ameijeiras Hospital in Havana, Cuba, where she specializes in managing acute and chronic kidney disease, dialysis procedures, and the care of kidney transplant patients. Her approach combines evidence-based medicine with thoughtful, personalized care.
Dr. del Rosario’s experience extends beyond Cuba. From 2011 to 2013, she served in an international medical mission in Venezuela, where she managed a wide range of transmissible and non-transmissible diseases. She also provided comprehensive care to pregnant women, children, and the elderly in underserved communities.
